The third movie that we are going to present is entirely different from the earlier 2 Genre’s that we selected which were more towards Thriller/Suspense. This is a light Comedy movie but surely with a sweet message hidden in it. This movie has been remade in other languages including Hindi due to its sheer dialogues, writing and screenplay.

This story is about a guy who is very smart and likes a girl next door but couldn’t really convey his feelings… Not really 😊. What would happen if you get rejected from every Graduation School you have applied in? You will try next year or will go for community colleges or open college education but that’s not what Bartleby Gaines (Justin Long) does. He does the most unimaginable thing that is creating his own fake institution with help of his techie friend but only to shut-down his parents constant nagging of having no future if you don’t go to college. The institution he creates is nothing but an abandoned psychiatric facility only to realize that his college has accepted lot of students like him who were rejected by the other colleges.

In this situation ideally Bartleby should have told everyone the truth but when he sees these students he realizes that they deserve a future like any other college students (also with the million dollars in his pocket to fund anything that may be required) he decides to go ahead with the entire façade of keeping South Harmon Institute of Technology as a real educational body.

Now the comedy of errors starts where Bartleby appoints his friend Sherman’s (Jonah hill) eccentric uncle as dean. Ensuring that the college looks as real as it can be, he creates his college newspaper (the S.H.I.T ) and a mascot (Sandwich) . He goes to an extent where he asks the students to tell what they want to learn on a giant board and gets totally unexpected response from them which range from all sort of activities like meditation, sculpting etc.

With the college running in full force hits a bump when the Harmon institute of technology college Dean appoints one of his best student Hoyt (Travis Wrinkle) to acquire and free-up the nearby college properties to build a big park, but when he realizes that that he will be unable to convince Bartleby to give up his college property, Hoyt decides to expose the college as fake. Hoyt even shame Sherman who was keen to join his group at Harmon institute and obtains the fake file of colleges from him.

Will he be able to run the institution and if yes, who would teach these students?  What would they be taught? Where would all the first-year money be spent? With so much of excitement we would recommend this move as a must watch.

Orphan

One of the most intriguing movie from the very beginning (alternate endings available) that we have seen. Even though this movie has IMDB rating of 7.0, but it surely deserve more recognition for its plot, drama, story, direction and most importantly its acting, than what it has received.

The movie starts with a dream, a terrible dream where a mother dreamsthat she is giving birth to a still born. When she wakes up, she realizes it was not only a dream, it actually happened. She visit psychiatrist to ease her off the pain. For the same reason she and her husband decides to adopt someone though they already have a baby girl, who is deaf and dumb and a cute boy.

For adoption they visit an orphanage where they meet a little girl, Esther,who is quite a mature for her age. They instantly liked her and decide to adopt and bring her home. But there is something eerie about Esther(little girl) that strikes the mother. Her mother proposes to teach her piano and she accepts, 1st day she makes many mistakes while playing the piano and the very next day she plays Piano like a pro. She keeps her room locked all the time which again made her Foster mother uncomfortable.

Her dressing style was also very different she always used to wear ribbons around her neck and wrist all the time. Her classmates also teased her because of the same thing but one day while playing in the park, she pushed one of her classmate who use to tease her and broke her leg cold blooded. But when asked, she answered that she was playing and it was an accident. Her mother discussed this thing with the sister of the Orphanage from were Esther came. And this is where things starts to shape up.

Hearing from her mother the sister (Nun) also got worried and enquired about Esther, she came to visit the family too. She brought some news regarding Esther unusual character and weird coincidences like she is the only survivor of the last adoptive family of hers. Esther having eavesdropping on all this started planning something big which no-one could have ever expected, she plans to kill the Nun. 

On one side her mother was thinking she is a disturbed child suffering from “Character Disorder” But nobody could have ever imagined the real reason behind her behavior and what she was capable of. 

By reading the above story in a nutshell if you are trying to guess the end, our advice would be not to waste your time in doing so because all your guesses are going to incorrect

If you all are hard core thriller fan and love suspense, being on tenterhooks, then this is one of the best movies for you. So our recommendation for this week would be “ORPHAN”

The Butterfly Effect

Hello, we are here to give suggestions about some of the lesser known movies which were written and directed beautifully and a must see for movie buffs. These movies might not have good IMDB rating but trust us you are going to like these. So today we are starting with one of our favorite move that is “The Butterfly effect”

If a movie is not letting you to blink your eyes. Hold your breath, not letting you to take bathroom breaks, bite you nails, it would be the best movies you can thought of. “The butter fly effect” is one of those movies.

If you get a chance to rectify your biggest mistake what will you do? You will take it. But do you know what will that lead to? Exactly. This is what the movie is all about.

A kid having black out problems when he comes to his senses he doesn’t remember a single thing what happened. In love with a sweet little girl who was there just because of him. They both eventually finds themselves in the middle of a life changing event. After which his mother took him out of that town leaving the girl behind with a promise that he will return one day. His doctor asked him to maintain journals to keep a tack of his black outs. Time passes by and his childhood memories faded and his black out problem cured.

One day in his college days he found all his journals and started going through it. While reading his world started shaking and everything looked like a dream. He was dreaming about the time when that black out happened and suddenly he started remembering what happened at the time of those blackouts or we should rather say, reliving the exact movement. In midst of that dream he did something different, he by mistake put cigratte ass in his shirt the cigarette ash burns his shirt and his skin too. When he wakes up he finds the exact spot. And after 2-3 such events he started connecting the dots. He wanted to change the outcome of the actions and that is where the whole story begins. His preset changed accordingly, and it was not for the good whatever he tried it resulted into something worse. He wanted to save her and whatever he tried one way or the other way hurt her and his friends.

The movie gradually proceeds with all the permutation and combinations he can try bringing us to the very 1^st scene, the mental asylum where he was taken because he started behaving nuts because only he can do feels and see what no other can. In that mental asylum he find his old tapes because he did not have his journal he needed his notes. Not sure whether those tapes will work the same way as the journals did. Then also he wanted to try. So he sneak into the warden’s room to see those tapes. And there he find his very first video, his very 1^st video of hers. So he goes back to that time as to push her apart by saying that he hates her. And there what all thing ended.

This movie gives us a message that the course of time cannot be corrected easily. Whatever is happening is happening for the best.

You need to watch it , to actually sense the excitement.
